Dear Parents, Students and Friends:
On behalf of the entire Diller-Quaile musical community, please accept my warmest thanks for your tremendous support of our "Let's Make Music Together" Gala held on April 16, 2008 at The Puck Building in SoHo.
Hosted by Grammy Award-winning artist, Harry Belafonte, and featuring Guest Auctioneer Jose Luis Guerra, Diller-Quaile's Gala was a spectacular evening of dinner and dancing. Thanks to the many supporters, the event was also a great financial success, raising more than $369,000 for Diller-Quaile's in-school and outreach efforts.
Our 2008 Gala would not be possible without the remarkable leadership of our Gala Chair Lisamaria Falcone, whose imaginative vision and personal support are deeply valued. Additionally, our heartfelt thanks extend to the following, dedicated volunteers: Anne Citrin and Leticia Presutti, Auction Co-Chairs; Diantha Redd and Becky Fawcett, Journal Co-Chairs; and Kathryn Beach, Colleen Haskell, Kimberley Hutfilz, and Zoe Khayatt, Decorations Vice Chairs. Their creative and tireless efforts could be seen and appreciated throughout the evening's events.
The evening was truly a beautiful celebration of Diller-Quaile. Thank you for helping us share the extraordinary gift of music with everyone in our vibrant school community.
