GIVING VOICE TO STORIES (2-2.10 years) Engaging and visually stimulating storybooks are explored through song, movement, and play. Percussion instruments, stuffed animals, puppets, and props are used to enhance the dramatizations. Just as children learn their ABCs through song, literacy studies show that music helps build vocabulary and facilitates communication skills. This class encourages children to find their own voice as they share stories with their teachers, family and friends. In addition to a head teacher, every class features a pianist who improvises accompaniments in a variety of musical styles.
