Instrumental and Vocal Department (Accompanist)
Junko Nagai received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Manhattan School of Music, playing in the MSM Orchestra as the winner of the Concerto Competition. Junko completed her Suzuki teacher training at The School for Strings. Her performances in New York and France include the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Donnell Library, Steinway Hall, Yamaha Hall, the Museum of Contemporary Arts, and Aujon Hall. Junko is the winner of the Yamaha competition in Japan and played with the Abilene Symphony. She is on the faculty at the Brooklyn Conservatory, where she is the Piano Department Head in the Suzuki division.
