Karen Paulson received a B.S. from New York University and an M.A. from Teachers College Columbia University in Music Education. She earned her Kodály Certificate from New York University. She is active in Kodály Organization of New York, serving as a clinician and former President of the Board of Directors. In 2012 she became president of the Eastern Division of the Organization of American Kodály Educators and now serves as a Member-at-Large. Karen has participated in choral and vocal concerts in the New York City area and the Umbrian region of Italy. She currently teaches at the Metropolitan Montessori School and has been on faculty at the Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn and the Mustard Seed School in Hoboken.
