Early Childhood Department (Music)
Laura Jobin-Acosta is a soprano and composer based in New York. She freelances with several ensembles in city and has international performing experience as a soloist. Some notable affiliations include the Musik für Frieden und Völkerverständigung project, a European ensemble dedicated to “peace,” with whom she gained her international soloist experience, as well as the New York Philharmonic, who she has sung with multiple times as a choral singer. She has a B.M. in Music Performance from the University of Denver as a classical singer, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Composition at SUNY Purchase. She is pleased to be a part of the Diller-Quaile faculty and hopes to positively influence children with the gift of music.
