CAMERATA

adult ensemble.jpg

Camerata, a chamber orchestra for intermediate and advanced adult players, provides an opportunity to study and perform repertoire for small orchestra from Baroque through Contemporary periods. Participants hone ensemble and playing skills while rehearsing and performing in a mutually supportive atmosphere. The focus is on guiding participants to a high level of ensemble playing, led by professional coaches from Diller-Quaile’s faculty. Camerata works in a time frame of five rehearsals leading to a performance, with repertoire announced in advance.
