About the Institute
The Diller-Quaile Institute furthers the School's mission to develop the innate musicality in each individual, inspiring participation for a lifetime, by promoting knowledge and access to educators, teaching artists, researchers, and the community.
The Institute:
Offers Professional Development for musicians, teaching artists, and music educators
Offers pre-service and in-service Teacher Development in music for elementary educators and early childhood professionals
Conducts Research in musical development, teaching and learning, and community music
Produces Recordings and Publications for families, musicians, and educators
Offers The Music for All Library, an online music resource for early childhood professionals
Diller-Quaile's Teacher Development Programs have been approved for Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) by the New York State Education Department.
Diller-Quaile is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Precollegiate Arts Schools and is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
