Dr. Elaine Heffner Visits : Dr. Elaine Heffner (LCSW, Ed.D.) has been the Early Childhood Development Consultant at Diller-Quaile since 1986. She is Senior  Lecturer of Education in Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College and was a Co-founder and Director of the Nursery School Treatment  Center at Payne Whitney Clinic, New York Hospital for many years. Dr. Heffner is in private practice in New York, shares her wisdom at www.goodenoughmothering.com, and is the author of the subsequent book, Goodenoughmothering: The Best of the Blog.
