Bio
Elizabeth Lanni is a passionate advocate for classical music and community engagement with a wealth of experience in arts administration. She currently serves as the Director of Development and Communications at The Diller-Quaile School of Music, where she leads strategic initiatives in fundraising and communications. Elizabeth began her career at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra on the Advancement Team before serving as Program Manager at the Michigan State University Community Music School-Detroit. Subsequently, she held positions at The Juilliard School and The Perlman Music Program. Most recently, Elizabeth served as Director of Patron Relations for the Sphinx Organization, a social justice organization that promotes diversity in the arts. At Sphinx, Elizabeth led the development and cultivation of individual patrons, oversaw the organization's external communications, served as a liaison to the Board of Directors, and managed Sphinx's signature events, including the Sphinx Virtuosi Concert & Gala at Carnegie Hall and the Sphinx Medals of Excellence Celebration in Washington, DC. Elizabeth holds a bachelor's degree in music and business administration from Wayne State University. She currently resides in New York City, where she enjoys cycling and visiting museums in her free time.
