Karenna Peterson is a vocalist, actor, and multi-instrumentalist whose performances vary between genres including classical, folk, jazz, and theater. Karenna’s work balances tender storytelling with musicality. Her voice, both intimate and commanding, creates an atmosphere for listers of all ages and backgrounds.
Originally from the Midwest, hailing from Lawrence, Kansas, Karenna has been shaped by years of choral, classical, and acoustic performance. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s of Music from The Ohio State University and then completed her Master’s of Music this past spring from NYU.
Beyond performance, Karenna is deeply committed to the connective power of music. She believes in art as a tool for healing and growth, and approaches each project with care, curiosity, and intention. Currently based on the Upper East Side of New York City, she is always working on her performance technique and investing in projects that reflect her voice not just as a singer, but as a storyteller and emotion-driven performer.
