Marie Tanabe
EARLY CHILDHOOD DEPARTMENT - music
Marie is an early childhood music educator who has happily found her professional home at Diller-Quaile. Teaching music to children has long been one of the great joys of her life. She holds a deep belief that all children are inherently musical and that music should be a natural, joyful part of childhood development.
Marie has taught early childhood music classes, general music for grades K–8, served as a children’s music director in her church, and developed and led a group piano program for children. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from SUNY Oswego, a Music Education Certification from Florida Atlantic University, and a Master of Arts in University Administration from Bowling Green State University.
