Paul Moskalew

INSTRUMENTAL AND VOCAL DEPARTMENT- cello

Cellist Paul Moskalew is a freecellist and teacher in New York City. He is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with Julia Lichten. He earned a Bachelor's degree at the Eastman School of Music, studying with Steven Doane, having previously studied with esteemed teacher Susan Moses at the Indiana University String Academy. Paul is a Suzuki-certified teacher, having studied cello pedagogy with esteemed pedagogue Pamela Devenport. He has attended the festivals such as the Kennedy Center's NSO Summer Music Institute, the Chautauqua Music Institute, and the Domaine Forget International Dance and Music Academy summer festivals. He has participated in performances at the Kennedy Center, Alice Tully Hall, and Merkin Hall. He has participated in chamber music coachings with Renée Jolles, Mikhail Kopelman, Sylvia Rosenberg, and members of the Ying and Penderecki quartets. In addition, he has played in masterclasses for such cellists as Csaba Onczay, Timothy Eddy, Frans Helmerson, Philippe Muller, Antonio Meneses, and the late Janos Starker.
