About the Event
Join us for a special faculty recital featuring guitarist Daniel Conant. Born and raised in New York City, Daniel began studying Hindustani classical music on the sitar at age 11 before turning his focus to classical guitar. He has performed at prestigious venues including Weill Recital Hall, Symphony Space, and the Morgan Library & Museum, as well as internationally in Italy, Belgium, Mexico, and Canada. A passionate champion of both new and traditional guitar music, Daniel has premiered works by contemporary composers and is an active chamber musician and Suzuki Method teacher.
