Dylan MarcAurele is a writer, composer, and pianist. He received a B.A. in music and economics from Harvard University, where he was a member of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals and Signet Society. His original musicals have been performed all over the world, receiving such honors as the 2023 Richard Rodgers Award, the 2023 Samuel French OOB Festival Top 13, the 2020 Dramatists Guild Foundation Fellowship, and the 2016 John Knowles Paine Fellowship. A fan of reality television, he wrote the opening number sung by Andy Cohen and the cast of Vanderpump Rules for the inaugural televised Bravo Awards in Las Vegas in 2023, and has made guest appearances twice on the late night talk show Watch What Happens Live. Prior to joining Diller-Quaile, he served for five years as the head of music and materials at Theatrical Rights Worldwide, overseeing the editing of all scripts and scores for musicals and plays, including The Prom, Bright Star, The Bodyguard, On Your Feet, and more; before that, he worked on the music teams for dozens of professional musicals, including the Broadway and Chicago productions of Hamilton.
